ESFJ Personality Type Explained (MBTI) – Portrait, Traits

The ESFJ personality is also known as the caregiver console or provider.


The E stands for extroverted, the S stands for sensing, the F is feeling and the J is judging.

E – Being extroverted means that you get your energy from being around others and you prefer to focus on the outer world.

S – Sensing refers to how you take in information, you are usually more interested in facts and details and prefer to focus on the basic information.

F – Feeling refers to how you like to make decisions you can to prioritize people circumstances and the needs of others and make decisions based on gut feelings.

J – Judging refers to how you approach the outside world you tend to prefer structure and order and enjoy knowing what to expect.

ESFJ’s are conscientious helpers sensitive to the needs of others and energetically dedicated to their responsibilities.

ESFJ’s tends to be warm-hearted conscientious and cooperative. They want harmony in their environment and they work with determination to establish it. ESFJ’s like to work with others to complete tasks accurately and on time. They are loyal and tend to follow through even in small matters. ESFJ’s notice what others need in their day by day lives and try to provide it. They want to be appreciated for who they are and for what they contribute.
